Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using FilmFlip (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

FilmFlip is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the app or any part of it
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

The FilmFlip name, logo, design, and all underlying code and technology are owned by Josh McFarlin and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to use them beyond what is required to use the app itself.

In-App Purchases

FilmFlip offers an optional Supporter purchase processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms of the relevant platform:

  • All billing and payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store your payment information.
  • Refunds are governed by Apple's or Google's refund policies. Please contact them directly for refund requests.
  • Purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account and can be restored on any device signed in to that account.

No Account or Cloud Storage

FilmFlip does not require you to create an account. All photos, folders, and settings are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete this local data. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from uninstallation, device failure, or other circumstances outside our control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

FilmFlip is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs or viruses. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or photos. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
